“Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.”
– Bahá’u’lláh
Welcome to my teaching portfolio!
It should come as no surprise that – like everyone else who’s trying to get a job as an educator – I love to teach. I also believe – like everyone else who’s trying to get a job as an educator – that my approach to pedagogy in higher education is pretty unique. In the sections and pages that follow, I hope to make clear why I teach, how I teach, why I teach the way I do, and how students respond to my teaching. I will also share some educational materials I have developed and used in the classroom, including syllabi and grading rubrics.
At the very least, I hope some of the information included here proves helpful to someone else and that some learning and/or virtual collaboration is achieved.
At the very most, I hope someone out there is reading this and deciding to hire me. ; )
The sections of this teaching portfolio, accessible via the links below or the menu above, include:
- Teaching Philosophy
- Instructional Evaluation
- Course Materials
- Evidence of Student Learning
- A Word on Empowerment
Thank you for visiting.
To learning!
